Tristen's most favorite wine he has crafted. Fermented 90% in neutral barrels, and 10% in one-time use french oak barrels, which imports mouthfeel without a strong presence of oak flavor. Our full-bodied Viognier expresses aromas of asian pear, honey, baked golden apples, mango and peach. Clean citrus, cream and a kiss of oak on the palate with a long, balanced and full finish.
The wine was lees (dead yeast cells) stirred every 2 weeks to create a creaminess and a bold wine.

Good to Know
- This is Yonah's second time playing with the viognier grape. Sourced from Mendocino county (the Mendocino County appellation is part of the large North Coast AVA that spreads northward from San Francisco Bay), our vineyard is known for their Viognier.
- Viognier almost went extinct in the 1960s, with fewer than 50 acres of vineyard plot remaining between two Chateau's in Northern Rhone. It was saved in part due to winemakers making the extra effort to plant this stubborn grape variety throughout California. Pairs perfectly with grilled peaches, leafy salads and your favorite Thai chicken dish.
