The 2015 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay has expressive
scents of fresh picked meyer lemon, zest of tangerine, and pink grapefruit with
touches of toasted almonds and honey.
There's a wonderfully rich, seductive, and
opulent quality to this wine. We recommend paring this Chardonnay with butter
poached lobster, pan seared scallops or a flaky white fish such as cod or
halibut.
Overall, this is a profoundly textural wine that
captures the charm and complexity of some of Sonoma County's most sought after
Chardonnay vines: Dutton Ranch.
This Chardonnay was aged in new 100% new French
oak barrels for 12 months.
