Wine and Music Festival – Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 11AM-7PM

Cleveland, GA – Yonah Mountain Vineyards, an award-winning, family-owned north Georgia winery, will hold its annual Crush Fest celebration on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 11:00am to 7:00pm. The day-long festival features live music, food trucks, an artisan market, wine tastings, and a chance for attendees to take part in the festival’s signature event—a traditional barefoot grape stomping accompanied by live accordion and guitar music from winery owners Bob and Jane Miller. Held since 2010, Crush Fest has become a Labor Day weekend tradition at Yonah Mountain Vineyards and attracts more than 3,500 visitors of all ages from around the Southeast.

Throughout the day, Crush Fest attendees will have the chance to taste Yonah Mountain Vineyards’ wines, including a handful of new releases, as they shop, eat, and enjoy live musical performances from more than 10 regional and national artists. The music line up will feature hourly performances from the Atlanta Falcons Drumline and the Atlanta Pipe Band, as well as sets from Julie Gribble (seen on “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson”) and brass band Mercury Orkestar among others. Food offerings will include both gourmet tastings and provisions from 9 food truck vendors, including Olde Blind Dog, Cousins Maine Lobster (as seen on ABC’s “Shark Tank”), and Simply Done mini doughnuts. Over 75 local and regional artisans, including Honey on the Hill and Timshel Apothecaries, will showcase wine- and food-related products in the festival marketplace. A family-friendly “Kid Zone” bounce house will also be on hand for children under the age of 10.

“Our wines are all about bringing people together to enjoy the good things in life, and we bring that same attitude of celebration to Crush Fest every year,” says Yonah Mountain Vineyards’ owner Bob Miller, of the festival. “We want our guests to have a great time in these gorgeous surroundings, and feel the grapes between their toes while they are here.”

Admission to Crush Fest is $30.00 per person and includes access to all the festivities as well as 4 three-ounce wine tastings and a take-home souvenir wine glass. General admission without the wine tastings is $15.00 per person, and children 16 and under are free. Crush Fest will take place at Yonah Mountain Vineyards, located at 1717 Highway 255 S, Cleveland, GA, 30528.
